Administration
John Zomer, Jr.
John is the Equipment buyer, Manager and President of Zomer Truck & Trailer Sales. He
has been in the Truck business for over 30 years and started the company in 1985. John was
raised in northwest Iowa on a dairy farm. He is married to Stacy, and they have six children
– Kaitlyn, Samantha (Taylor), John, Caleb, Ava and Madelynn. John also enjoys farming and
working with livestock.
Stacy Zomer
Stacy joined the company part-time in 2011 as an assistant to the office staff. She and John
have been married for over 25 years with six children. Stacy grew up in Harrisburg, SD and
graduated from Northern State with an Accounting degree and more recently graduated from STI
with a degree in Human Resources. She enjoys being outdoors, riding motorcycles, fishing,
camping, and spending time with family.
Rhonda Glanzer
Rhonda joined the staff at Zomer Truck & Trailer as a bookkeeper
in September 2018 with over 26 years of experience in this area. She grew up on a dairy farm
in Dolton, SD and graduated from Nettleton Junior College with an accounting degree. She
also works with her husband Scott in their trucking, seafood and farming operations. Rhonda
enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter Shawna and other family and friends, the
outdoors, traveling, fishing, camping and attending sprint car races.
Chuck Bagley
Chuck joined the staff at Zomer Truck & Trailer in 2017. He is the Assistant Operations
manager and has over 30 years of experience in the industry. He was raised in Southern
Minnesota and has 2 daughters, Amber & Erica and 3 grandchildren.
Sales Department
Perry Herrboldt
Perry has been a Salesman with Zomer’s since 1995, but has been in
truck / trailer related sales for over 40 years. Perry grew up on a farm by Menno, SD. He
has been married to Janet for over 35 years, and together they have four children – Angela,
Sean, Reid and Ianna. They also have eight grandchildren – Addison, Ella, Lela, Charlie,
Jack, Alice, Sloan, & Lillian. Perry enjoys spending time with family, hunting, fishing,
and likes to travel.
Parts Department
David Decker
David joined the staff at Zomer Truck & Trailer in February of 2018. He is a mechanic
and is working in the rebuild department. He has over 5 years of experience in this field.
David enjoys hunting, fishing and motorcycle riding in his spare time.
Adam (Mike) South
Adam joined the staff in 2021 as a mechanic. He has 8 years of experience in this field. He
was raised in Two Harbors, MN and has been married to Alecia for 2 years. They have 4
children. His hobbies include playing guitar, shooting pool and cars.
Service Department
Shane Hauger
Shane joined the staff at Zomer Truck & Trailer in January of 2018. He is the service
manager and has experience in the area since 2012. He was raised in Yankton, SD and has a
daughter named Brinley. Shane loves spending time with Brinley and his hobbies include
shooting sports, hunting and reloading ammo.
Darwin DeJong
Darwin DeJong has been a truck mechanic for about 38 years and has been with the Zomer
company since 2006. Darwin has been married to Arlys for over 10 years, and has three
children – Galen and April Van Otterloo, Kris and Becky Isakson, Sam and Jillian DeJong,
along with six grandchildren. He was raised in Orange City, IA.
Stuart Thury
Stuart Thury has been a Diesel Mechanic for over 20 years, joining the Zomer Company in
April of 2002. He grew up in Parkston, SD. Stuart has been married to Shirley for over 20
years and he has one daughter, Lacey. When Stuart is not working, he loves spending time
with friends and family, and also enjoys hunting and fishing.
Patrick Stahl
Patrick re-joined the staff at Zomer in February of 2019. He currently works as a shag
driver and a mechanic’s assistant. He trucked from 1997 to 2000. Pat has been married for
over 40 years to Marlene and they have 4 children, Ernest, Ruan, Isaiah & Mya and are
expecting their first grandchild. He enjoys hunting, fishing, cars and semi-trucks.
Reavis Heiskell
Reavis joined Zomer Truck in 2021 as a trailer mechanic and has 5 years of experience in
this field. He was raised in Canton, SD and enjoys hunting, fishing, going to dirt track
races and installing car audio equipment. He also enjoys hanging out with friends and family
and smoking a variety of foods.
John Merry
John joined the Zomer company in 2021. He has 3 years of experience as a mechanic and 7
years of experience as an ag service tech. He is married to Bailey. He enjoys spending time
with his wife and 2 dogs and family and friends. He also loves riding motorcycles and
horses, shooting guns & hunting and helping on the family farm.
